Personal Biography:
I am a 25-year-old designer from Hong Kong, now living in Canada. At the moment, I am unable to participate in this project in person because I have a family and am currently focused on planning our life here. However, I still hope there might be opportunities or possible modes of collaboration.

After graduating from the Hong Kong Design Institute, I worked in various fields including small-scale engineering, design agencies, and clothing production, etc. Later, I returned to The Hong Kong Polytechnic University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Communication Design. In my graduation project, I explored alternative survival models for Hong Kong’s declining industries around Aberdeen — building what I saw as a “familiar society” to discover new ways of living beyond the capital society.

With the experience from that project, after coming to North America, I discovered that the common resources available here can form many different approaches to counter capitalism, just like what OSE is promoting through the House Revolution.

Before I came across your project through data recommendation, I was already planning how to achieve a self-sufficient lifestyle using solar panels and self-built housing. When I found out what your team has been working on, I was truly inspired. I sincerely hope to connect with you and learn from your work.

I believe your project still has room for a more complete strategy to engage buyers in the House Revolution — currently, the approach mainly relies on lowering the price below market value to attract them. I believe that with my experience in Hong Kong and the plans I am currently developing, I could help contribute to structuring a brighter future plan for the House Revolution.
