Standard vapor barrier is basically thick sheets of 6 mil plastic. Saran wrap wouldn&#039;t cut it. This is something really really important... if there isn&#039;t a solution you will destroy your insulation (as MJN says below) and you will have mold, mildew and moisture problems in the house.
