== Ersol cell availability, selection criteria ==

Ersol was purchased by Bosch in 2008. I was not able to find any solar cells through Bosch's solar products web site, although I only spent a few minutes searching.

What were the criteria for selecting the Ersol cells? Perhaps we could list the criteria, along with multiple suppliers, for increased robustness in the DIY solar panel project?
== Soldering suggestions ==

Some or all of these may be obvious to experienced users, but laypeople don't necessarily know the following:

# Instead of a knife, consider using a kitchen scouring pad to clean the contacts prior to soldering.
# '''Always''' use rosin or resin flux on both the contact and the wire before soldering. (Do not use plumbing flux, this is too corrosive for electronics applications.)
# The "correct" size of solder depends on the size of the joint one is trying to create. The goal is to apply just enough solder without having to "feed" a long length solder off the spool.
