== 9 August 2012 ==

Tomorrow we fly back to Greece. It is only two of us left here as Theo left for Germany on 4th and big George left for Greece the next day. This journey ends here. We hope that we can transfer what we learned and experienced here to other people back home who want to get involved in the world of open source.

== 6 August 2012 ==

Today we tested the trencher again. We had tested for the first time two days ago. It worked alright, although we lost a tooth. It is a great feeling to bring to life a piece of equipment that you have designed and see it work. Most of all it is a sense of satisfaction and companion work. The general layout is a design by George Ardamerinos but we all worked on it and Aidan helped us mainly with the soldering.

== 3 August 2012 ==

Today I waked up in a bad mood I didn’t want to work but I didn’t have choice. We all worked hard until late in the night. We almost finished it, the only thing that we had to do is to put the trencher on the tractor and test it. Because we were exhausted we decided to test it tomorrow before Theo leaves. I am exited, I am not sure how well it will work but I can’t wait.

== 2 August 2012 ==

Today we continued building the trencher and I can tell that we had finished a big part of it. Also me George and big George we all together helped Aidan build a steel table. I hadn’t imagine that for this table, I will use all the machines in the workshop except torch table and torch. But I did welding, I grained some metals and I cut some metals with 4 different machines That was the most of the machines that I used and I liked very mush the grinder and the welding .

== 1 August 2012 ==
Today finally we started to build the trencher. We had already completed the design So we started. We were working all day until late a night. We only take a brake for lunch. We wanted to finish it before Saturday and Sunday and that’s because Theo and big George will leave these days and they wanted to see the trencher complete. Also I have to tell you that I don’t have much experience in workshop so I ended up with burnt fingers. It was worst than I thought but in 1 hour I was ok. After the work we all slept immediately.

== 31 july 2012 ==

Today we all did some practice in torching pieces. Actually we tried to make a table and we did practice together. Our teacher was small George and Aidan. We do this kind of staff today because tomorrow we will start finally to build our trencher. We are all enthusiastic and we were waiting for this moment. Also today we did a house meeting and from now on we can’t see movies after 11 o’clock at night because of the voice. They put that rule into force because yesterday we saw a movie late at night although the voice was almost off we couldn’t hear anything. In the kitchen at morning we had a bad surprise someone had put all the dirty dishes spoons ect. together with the clean one. It was a little disaster but it didn’t were a big deal.

Today first me and small George (Adamerimnos) and after Theo joint us, we help Marcin to fill the roof with straw also we put some white ash in the roof. Marcin told us that ash is to keep away mouses and other small animals. Also I did some practice on cad and designed some parts of [http://opensourceecology.org/wiki/Trencher trencher].

== 29 july 2012 ==

Today is SMALL GEORGE's BIRTHDAY. So we didn’t do many thinks about the trencher. We actually wanted to make a party for small and big George (because we hadn't done any party on his birthday). We went to the shop and bought candies, a lot of meat and a big cake. It was perfect. We had music we danced we sang Greek folk songs, it was very nice. I found some time and I went to the lake there I found Gabi, Graham, the new guy and Aidan. It was my first time that I saw all these people to go swimming and it was funny.

== 28 july 2012 ==

Today we downloaded the cad; now I can use it and make some designs of the trencher. It is not the cad that I used to use so it will take me a little time to become familiar with it. Also me and big George (Kakaris) we helped Aidan to move some marble slab. It was really hard because the only tool that we could use were 2 metal beams. Also today we had a new arrival a new guy.

Today I can happily say that my injuries didn’t hurt me at all. Today I continued my practice on google sketch up 8. Also I went to the lake and I did some swim-training. In the lake also I found Theo sleeping on the platform

== 26 july 2012 ==

My injuries from yesterday hurt me when I walk but it’s not a big deal. Today we finished the the design of the steps about how to build the machine. Also I did some practice on Google sketch up 8

== 25 july 2012 ==

Today me and Theodosis we went to the lake for swimming. Today I was extremely unlucky. A little piece of wood got into my foot twice so I can’t walk so easily but never mind. Also today we talked with Marcin about the «teeth» of the Trencher.And we finished the steps how to make the spensher.

== 24 July 2012 ==

Today we had a meeting with one person of each team that will give the status of the team progress. In our team this person is Theodosis. Also we have almost completed the 3D design of our machine and we started searching for materials to build our machine. Also today, Alex talked to us about Permaculture. I didn't understand all of it but it sounds really interesting.

== 23 July 2012 ==

Today in the morning we skyped with Mrs G. Proestopoulos (our counselor). Also we had a meeting with Marcin. In the meeting we were assigned a new project. From now on we will be responsible to build an open source Trencher. With Marcin we talked about the main idea.We started the design at night. Also, I found some time to go swimming and I found Theodosis at the lake. Late at night we helped Aidan to move some power cube and, trust me they are really heavy!

== 22 July 2012 ==

On Sundays we take a break from the week's work. So we didn't do any kind of work. At night we played football and watched a movie.

There is a slowdown on the work we do here. I guess we need more guidance in our work. The whole concept of open source ecology is fascinating, but real life and effort can be very hard. Our spirit not very high, but I want to do and understand more of what is happening here. Besides our planet is transforming and whole this can be a driving force for the future.

My early morning wake up that I am used to gives me the opportunity to exercise by running round the farm. Theo and George are into Arduino.

Me and Theo worked on the sawmill plans. Before SolidWorks we measured the dimensions.

We started learning SolidWorks. Yoonseo showed us some basic stuff and proposed some videos on [http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=uosCbYn1jYs youtube]. I haven't worked much 3D CAD in the past and it looks quite different from the [http://www.3ds.com/products/draftsight/download-draftsight/ DraftSight] and AutoCAD I have used. It is impressive.

Today we helped Brianna on [http://opensourceecology.org/wiki/File:Brianna_and_the_Greeks.jpg installing power infrastructure] in the HabLab before the daily scrum.

Initial adjustment and farming work. Also I assisted Matthew Schwabauer build the [http://opensourceecology.org/wiki/File:Bricks_and_Ceiling_Interface.jpg ceiling] of HabLab and installed metal ceiling panels. This also included stuffing the space with straw and a sprinkling of borax to deter critters. Arrival at the farm. Setting up of the tents in which we will sleep.

Stuck in Chicagο on the way to the farm due to customs delays. Nice opportunity to see the city along with George A. and George K.
Upon returning to our the hotel we ended up in a hotel with a similar name. We managed to return on our own and enjoy the unexpected visit.

Today we started a new project about a drill machine. We talked with Marcin about the details of the machine and also we decided how the machine will look like and how it will work. Also I found some free time for swimming.
