The GVCS is a powerful trend in the opposite direction. Since it is the poor of the world that require tools to live autonomously the most I believe it's in these regions where a local economy will first emerge.

I have spent significant time invested in learning how to run robust linux servers, efficient CMS's etc. as it was clearly to expensive not to learn. So I can contribute in this area if need be.
