&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;Electric vehicles must be one part of any comprehensive plan to extremely lower the use of petroleum fuels, especially gasoline.  It is not as simple as replacing all combustion-engine vehicles with electric-motor vehicles.  A drastic increase in electric vehicles nationally and internationally should be pursued with much zeal.  However, there are a handful of projects that need to be considered along side a massive increase in EVs.  The include public transit, renewable energy, and EV transition programs.&lt;br /&gt;
