	While I am not a current employee of this organization, I have been involved with Open Source Ecology in the past. Today I received news that several individuals are being fired from their employment contract, discriminating against the people of color in a larger group of employees~~. Not only that, before being terminated, these workers had been segregated~~ to ~~a separate "team" within the larger group, do work separately from the others. I see this as unlawful and grounds for~~ legal action ~~against Open Source Ecology, and its founder Marcin Jakubowski.~~

	I did not know that it was a racially discriminating organization until today, and I am deeply disappointed, because of how well this organization is supported by grant funding and other donors. I no longer can support Open Source Ecology because of these actions. I believe that the donors to this organization deserve to know that employees are being discriminated against based on their race, and are being fired based on ~~the racial~~ discrimination of the founder of Open Source Ecology, Marcin Jakubowski. I updated the employee discrimination policy to better reflect the actions of the Organization, so that future employees can be aware that they may be discriminated against when they are employed by this organization. I also believe that there are grounds ~~to take legal action against Open Source Ecology and its founder for racial discrimination in the workplace. I believe remedial action must be taken immediately.~~
