Keep a bucket of some sort ready for the old oil

You can use some gloves with grips on them to get it off fairly easily

Take it out of the box and wipe some fresh oil on the seal

===Step 8: Install New Oil Filter===
Make it hand tight only. Tight, but not THAT tight.

===Step 9: Pour New Oil In===
Make sure you closed the drain cap before you do this. Don't over-tighten drain cap!

===Step 10: Run Engine for a few seconds to move the new oil around===

Add more oil if needed.
