==='''WHY''' are you motivated to support/develop this work?===
*''Do you endorse open source culture?''
Absolutely

*''Why are you interested in collaborating with us?''
I think the various projects might inspire ans excite my students who are required to produce a capstone senior project. Currently many of them have no clue on what project to tackle.

*''How do you think that the GVCS can address pressing world issues?''
Perservering and progressing with constructing the GVCS guarantees that pressing world issues would be addressed. In fact, the Christmas Gift to the world already makes the project a success.

*''What should happen so that you become more involved with the project?''
If my other duties allow me enough time.

*''What is missing in the project?''

*''What are your suggestions for improvement of the project?''

==='''WHAT''' are your skills?===

*'''List all of your skills in these areas: Communications - Organizational - Computer Support - Finances - Design - Natural Building - Electronics - Automation - Metallurgy - Engineering - Fabrication - Agriculture - Energy - Architecture - Video/Graphics/Art - PR/Marketing - Education - Construction - Industry - CNC - Chemistry - Product Design - Other'''
Modeling hydraulic circuits. Hydraulics education. Registered Professional Engineer in Indiana and certified manufacturing engineer.

*''How have you already contributed to the project?''

===HOW can you help?===

*''How are you interested in contributing to the work of GVCS development?''
As time allows during the summer probably remotely. Perhaps a short visit to the FEF if my wife could find time. She has PR skills that would be very useful but is extremely busy even during the summer.

*''Can you volunteer to work with us, and if so, how many hours per week?''
Not during the semester but possibly in the summer if schedules allow.

*''Are you interested in working with us for pay? If so, what services can you offer, and what is your hourly or per-project rate?''
No

*''Are you interested in a [[Dedicated Project Visit]]?
Yes

*''Are you interested in purchasing equipment from us to help bootstrap development?''
No, more likely replicate.

*''Are you interested in bidding for consulting/design/prototyping work?''
No

*''Are you a [[True Fans|True Fan]]? If not, why not?''
yes

*''Would you like to see yourself working with us on a full-time basis?''
No, since I have a career as a full professor of mechanical engineering technology at Purdue University Calumet. I do not teach in the summers however and the Chicago area is not that far from Kansas City.

*''Are you interested in using the technologies that we are developing directly?''
Yes, I teach fluid power (hydraulics & pneumatics) about 25% of the time, dynamics another 25%, and intro to engineering technology, 25%. Other topics the remainder. Your videos are an inspiring teaching tool.

Our School of Technology is putting together a mobile outreach laboratory based in a 20 ft enclosed trailer. A power cube would be very useful, particularly if a variable displacement hydraulic motor essentially comprising a hydrostatic transmission could be mated to an electric generator occasionally when a large amount of electric power was needed.

The CEB press would be a wonderful demonstration of mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, and construction engineering technologies all of which we teach. I could picture it at high schools outside the techmobile with crowds of students around it.

*''Are you interested in being part of the world's first, open source, resilient community? The GVCS is the preparatory step for the OSE Village Experiment – a 2 year, immersion experiment (2013-2014) for testing whether a real, thriving, modern-day prototype community of 200 people can be built on 200 acres using local resources and open access to information? We are looking for approximately 200 people to fill a diverse array of roles, according to the Social Contract that is being developed. This may be the boldest social experiment on earth - a pioneering community whose goal is to extend the index of possibilities regarding harmonious existence of humans, ecology, and technology.''
Yes
