New page

This page outlines the collaboration between Universities and OSE.

Andreas Gmeiner wrote:

as I am contacting universities in Germany with mechanical/electrical
engineering, regenerative energies, ecosystem design (and whaterver helps for
bringing OSE R&D forward) right now in Germany I made also some thoughts about
what we need to get universities to help us. Currently I am only contacting
people familiar to me at different faculties.

I wrote some information about possible collaborations in the wiki, but very
rudimentary. Whats very importatant when we want to obtain all the P1 and P2
places is really to offer them concrete projects and not just the vision.
The vision is really good, but whe must somehow (i.e. for the university
collaborations) get possible thesises out of the system engineering process and
the managers have to be informed about this possibility to define
thesises/projects etc. Is there already something like that, if not is there
someone responsible to do that.

I think we should start something like a subgroup concerning with the topic how
to get collaborations with universities (and other institutions), as to get
these running we have to adapt the OSE infrastructure (for finding the thesis
like said above) as well as connecting with the universities. Also we should
minimize the time needed for an OSE Project Manager or Contributor to keep the
thesis running (as students ofte not yet have the necessary experience in
handling projects on their own). So I think we have to consider some aspects
not yet findeable somewhere in the wiki. So important are people capable of
being nodes to universities/collaborations. Perhaps capable in looking over
ideas and concepts of the collaboration partner in respect to OSE standards.
When interested, tell me!
