Generally speaking - the cost of running the desktop microfactory is primarily the cost of the electricity that it uses. Maintenance costs have to be counted as a cost and should be subtracted from the revenue to obtain net revenue.

			In their monthly accounting, Fellows can add their electricity, materials, and maintenance costs and OSE will subtract these from the net revenue to obtain the net revenue.

			There may be costs associated with the venue for running workshops, or other incidentals, which are likewise subtracted from the net. The Fellow covers their travel costs, such as gas and food.
