My goal is to work more with hardware but I think like a lot of people I see the grandness of the project and get excited but hesitate to take action. I'm hoping to attend an event in person so that I feel more of a sense of accountability. I draw an analogy with learning Spanish where I bought books and never read most of them but when I found a tutor I quickly made progress. I'm not sure if remote workshops work well for someone who doesn't follow them live. With something like this it is important for me to filter out all the distractions and prioritize one thing for an extended period of time.
