Brought Everyone Up to Speed on What I Just Did

New page

I just loaded it up in Google Earth Pro and accidentally hyperfocused and labeled various interesting sites along with that one with the trees in the middle of the field, then tried to find roads, then...

How to Determine if Something is a Road or a River from Remote Sensing Data is surprisingly difficult (at least with just Optical; no Topography Data /Multispectral Imaging / Synthetic Aperture Radar

A lot of the lines seem to be Irrigation Ditches , that or Swales

I also was able to document some Deforestation / Land Clearing so cross comparing with Restor (or that other Remote Sensing based deforestation tracker thing, i
forget it's name) would be neat.

I think the 2013 Snapshot and the 2017 Snapshot could even show Tire Tracks (from either ATVs on a light path or Tractors + Pickup Trucks on heavier paths i can't tell which. I think those were " Airbus CNES " and the lower resolution images were by " Maxar Technologies ". Landsat and Copernicus (Satellite) provided the older lower resolution data and/or covered areas not covered by the later satellites. I want to look up what is The Highest Electro-Optical Satellite Resolution as of now (Seems ~30cm per pixel for civillian, ~10cm per pixel for USA Spy Satellites! Essentially enough to see individual vehicles, and sort of people) granted it gets way more complex than a number due to angle and time it is within view and total area per scan etc

I have some screenshots and the Google Earth Pro file, i can upload the png's i don't know about the "My Places" folder file as that may be some funky format. I'll need to dump files later though; it's late!
