New page

Variation of this by country, or even in things where you take out Transportation or Rural/Remote/Construction Use (such as using gas powered equipment due to POTENTIALLY not having electricity on site, not due to that being a relevant option) would be interesting to look into.

In particular [[Home Energy Use]] potentially (in the USA Context) Comparing it State by State may be of interest.

Things such as the [[Duck Curve]] and [[Demand Side Load Balancing]] may also make the storage requirements easier.

Even just running around FeF with some [[Kill-a-Watt]] meters to see what your laptop uses, what a desk lamp uses, what a fan uses etc may be INVALUABLE in planning.

Considering getting one myself, only ~20 USD if i remember correctly although some of the reviews spooked me off; good enough for Mythbusters and [[Technology Connections (YouTube Channel) ] though, albeit might be SOME “they don’t build them like they used to” tied into that.

A [[Multimeter]] could work in a pinch/with the right adapters

Some [[Smart Circuit Breakers]] / [[Smart Power Bars]] exist, but between Cybersecurity Vulnerabilities, Privacy Issues (Both at the macro and micro levels), or even something as mundane as Cost and/or [[Vampire Loads]] all in all have me not TOO interested about those. May be a good option for the [[RLF]] or Warehouses etc

(One of the [[FES]] companies had some proprietary system+software for all that as a selling point too)
