<p>Saved Progress Mid-Long Edit</p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>I’ll need to properly write about it on-wiki sometime, and MILD SPOILERS AHEAD but in one part of a “Flash Foreward” in [[Pantheon (TV Show) ]] , there is a monologue where (insert the proper quote+timestamps here later but)<br /> <br /> In regards to the swarm of labor from Uploaded Intelligences (people who had their brains destructively scanned then their consciousnesses uploaded to computers/the www, where they can “overclock” and live/work faster than “real” human scale time (doing hours of work in minutes)<br /> <br /> It said something like “After the tax on UI labor, and a [[Universal Basic Income]] was implemented, the question went from “Will the robots take my job” to “Can the robots take my job too?”<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ALL IN ALL given it was done in only an episode or two (as a part of the Flash Forward “wrapping up” ) the worldbuilding for that part was a bit rushed/had some gaps in to (Mainly the would a [[UBI]] work, the liklihood of the Post-Work Paradise vs just Mass Unemployment with the Current Status-Quo of you MUST work to live still in place</div>
