Between the precision electronics needed to get those ultra low dc voltages/currents/i forget what variable it was, the need for wet, or somewhat expensive dry electrodes, i think it isn't too useful for most uses (especially non-clinical), especially when you could spend that and get an eeg cap via [[Open BCI]] .<br />
<br />
Also for clinical, TMS or transcranial magnetic stimulation is more effective i think? Granted it is an emerging method, not too well understood yet, but it seems to be more of a subtle tweak of activation energy, rather than some magic on/off thing.<br />
