Main thing to look for in something you would buy is a VERY smooth + stable pan and tilt etc&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
For all the fancy pans and tils you don&amp;#039;t want it getting stuck then jumping a few degrees etc&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Also Quick Release Plates are your friend (may be something for me to dig and see if there are OS options for them:&lt;br /&gt;

Manfrotto makes some crazy video heads, and a great &amp;quot;mini tripod&amp;quot;.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
For static photo/lighting/video just do some pvc + 3dp adapters, or diy metal setup&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
