I live in Mexico.

I have an Engineering degree in Mechatronics (Mechanics + Electronics + Control and Automation), with a special focus on artificial intelligence and on design and development of competition vehicles.

I got an "Outstanding" result in CENEVAL's "EGEL Ingeniería Mecatrónica" evaluation test for Engineering degree candidates (standardized test in Mexico for evaluating the knowledge and abilities of Engineering degree candidates).

I'm passionate about open source, product design and development, data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning, environmental, social and economic sustainability, and entrepreneurship.

I started my professional career working for a plastic film manufacturing company, where I reduced materials waste from 25% to 8%, while increasing productivity by over 200%, and reducing maintenance times by 75%. This was done in 6 months, after which I switched to an automotive OEM in the aftersales quality department, where I handle the root cause investigations and an escalation process from the factory to the HQ to decide upon recalls, campaigns and/or technical bulletins to fix issues in the field. I've been doing that for 5 years now.
