Questions

How did you find out about OSE and the Factor e Farm?
I watch a lot of TED talks and the open-source civilization immediately struck me as an incredibly good idea and a feasible one.

What do you care about?
I studied architecture and I've always been interested in the development of communities. Through my studies, it became increasingly clear that today's paradigms of community, consumption, and man's relationship to the earth were short-sighted and incredibly dangerous. OSE struck me as a powerful grassroots solution to many of these problems.

What do you see yourself doing with us at OSE (remotely or at Factor e Farm)?
I'm not sure which of my skills would be most useful to OSE. At Factor e Farm I could assist with construction and planning. I also saw that there's some need for design and documentary filmmaking services. I have some experience in both those fields and would certainly enjoy putting those skills to work.

How does the work at OSE relate to what you care about?
I believe communities need to be smaller and more self-sufficient in order to survive long-term in a world where resources are increasingly scarce. OSE addresses this directly, developing tools to solve the problems at hand.

For what you care about doing with us, what is your track record? (novice, experienced, master -- give us some details about how you view your work and your potential) I have some relevant experience in several fields and I'm proud of the work I've produced thus far. However, I know I still have a lot to learn and I'm eager to do so.

Do you have any samples of that work we could review (docs, videos, etc.)? If so, put in some links here or upload something for us to review.
I have a personal website of some of my architectural design work [http://www.charlesfboyd.com here]
