&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;Ferdinand Meier is a 39 year old mechanical engineer from Munich, Germany. He finished his degree in 2005 at the &amp;quot;Munich University of Applied Sciences&amp;quot;. He gained professional experience working at: MTU Aero Engines, aeronautical industry; INNOMED GmbH, medical engineering; KD-Ingenieurtechnik, design of high precision parts for aerospace industry; and IGEL AG, design of basic engine parts for BMW. He worked in Barcelona in the design of parametric family parts in Autodesk Revit and spent a year with the artist community &amp;quot;alg-a&amp;quot;.&lt;br /&gt;
In 2014 he finished a masters degree at the MIT-Portugal in Sustainable Energy Systems. And while working at the fablab EDP in Lisbon he received his diploma for the FabAcademy a course on digital fabrication (CNC-milling, 3D printing, molding&amp;amp;casting, composites, electronics, embedded programming).&lt;br /&gt;
He was an active member of Lisbons hackerspace &amp;quot;altlab&amp;quot;, with focus on digital fabrication and energy related topics.&lt;br /&gt;
In the 2015 and 2016 he was working in the Fablab-Barcelona as an instructor for the FabAcademy. Since then he has been freelancing and volunteering for Festool (DE), Soko.tech (ES), Farmlab Algarve (PT), IAAC (ES), Burning-man (US), &amp;quot;Oficinas do convento&amp;quot; (PT), &amp;quot;Makers in little Lisbon&amp;quot; (PT) and &amp;quot;Art bike Invasion&amp;quot; (LT).&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
