			Dorkmo, thanks for you feedback! I might want to start polishing one of the more-finished machines, but first I want to help bring some more structure into the documentation. Interesting description by Chris below, seems the topic has been on for quite a while. Do you know if there is a definition of which is the current way to document? Is there a "Get started as a new developer" tutorial? How are new developers greeted / introduced anyway? 			Thanks for chiming in about the development documentation. I have not heard of the concatenate? that you mentioned, but it sounds interesting. Last night I was looking through two wiki pages that address the documentation question... One created by Marcin, [http://opensourceecology.org/wiki/Documentation_Standards/ Documentation Standards], and another created by Dan Benamy, [http://opensourceecology.org/wiki/How_to_Structure_the_Wiki_for_GVCS_Machines/ How to Structure the Wiki for GVCS Machines]. Both address protocols for creating consistent documentation across all the machines (and my angle is, of course, the architecture). For the moment, I'm going to keep plugging along on MicroHouse 2 using the [https://docs.google.com/a/opensourceecology.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArNBTd6xfT7MdE5TUnozdXNuMEc5NXpCdThuZWRzdHc&usp=drive_web#gid=1/ Development Board Spreadsheet] that I have been creating. Perhaps once this spreadsheet is filled out, it could be used to populate a wiki page(s).

			There was a great test page set up on the wiki for the CEB press, [http://opensourceecology.org/wiki/CEB_Press_Test/ CEB Press Test], that I think is an excellent place to start. I'm not sure why this approach was abandoned in favor of pursuing the Development Board.

	I did want to mention, as you work on other CAD drawings, that I think it works better if the dimensionals are in pure inches since Brianna mentioned to me that's how machinists think (instead of feet-inches). I know the text on the dimensionals can be manually replaced, that's how I did the ones I e-mailed to you (newer Primary Arms models) in pure inches. Not sure if there's a way to get Google to automatically generate the dimensionals text in pure inches instead of reducing to feet-inches ... anyhow, it would be a real help to me if whatever way you do it, you had the dimensionals in pure text, since that's how the directions will be written and I think keeping the model drawings (Sketchup for now) and text in synch help make it easier for folk looking at the instructions to follow along. 50 by 13!--[[User:Howard V. 	So you've done the existing drawings? I sent an e-mail at you to the gmail account listed on your Team Culturing Survey page. It has the Sketchup drawings I re-did based on updated specs from Brianna. You do seem to be faster on the draw at Sketchup (I noticed you had done the sketchup for the brick holder plate for the CEB press, for instance, just as I was about to start on it!). I hope we can collaborate as I go along. Getting the current specs seems to be the biggest slowdown, but it must be done for my work on the complete, all-in-one Manufacturing Instructions document. Anyhow, hoping we can gmail chat now and then to keep up. Maybe I could pass along the updated specs for you to do the models while I hack out the word processing documents, or whatever.
