	Factor e Farm (FeF) is a 30 acre parcel of land 1 hour away from the Kansas City International Airport in Missouri. ~~In 2004,~~ Open Source Ecology ~~purchased this land – a blank slate that was a soybean field~~. ~~Since then, we have been busy building infrastructure~~, using as much open source, libre processes and hardware as possible. It aims to take what civilization has learned about what it means to thrive, and determine whether it is feasible to use abundant local resources to create industrial civilization, up to semiconductor and metal production – on the scale of a parcel of land – at 2 hours of work per day – using local resources – regeneratively – achieving a modern standard of living. This is a Big Hairy Audacious Goal, but its achievement has huge implications on solving Wicked Problems.		We are much more than a farm. At Factor e Farm, we grow ideas, and put them into practice. 	Our work exchange program is 40 hours per week in exchange for lodging, food, experience, and credit to attend our future workshops. Become a part of the OSE family and gain access to behind the scenes learning opportunities. We need assistance preparing for our upcoming workshops and cleaning up afterwards, so we are seeking volunteers for Sept 19th - 25th, as well as Oct 24th through November 18th.
	~~Types of work include: cleaning, weedwacking, organizing, prototyping, supply runs, food preparation, painting, foundation prep work, photography and videography, technical writing, and more.~~

			Our work exchange program involves 4 days of volunteer work in exchange for participating in the CEB Press/Power Cube Workshop. attend our future workshops. We need assistance preparing for our upcoming workshop and cleaning up afterwards, so we are seeking volunteers for Sept 19th - 22 - in exchange for the workshop on the 23-25 of September. Work includes site preparation, cleanup, and organization of the living/working spaces.

	~~1 workshop credit is roughly valued at $600 and would “pay” for an entire $600 workshop~~
	~~Workshops could be priced by dollar amount and credit amount so that credits can be applied to future workshops. This is roughly equal to $15/hour so it’s a pretty good deal for everyone~~		Volunteers will be provided with a room, but have to cover their own food. They also have to cover a $15/day overhead cost during the workshop.
