From the OSE perspective, it is useful to figure out how to provide needs via reliance on common, abundant feedstocks, rather than geographically concentrated ones such as oil or diamonds.


			For many GVCS tools at present, steel is a common feedstock. Access to this resource (via junkyards or steel mills) should be analized in the Nonstrategic Resource Analysis to determine whether access to such resources allows for the production of certain GVCS tools.
