After a model is completed in Sketchup - it can be taken apart and every single part can be hidden.
Thus, hiding/viewing things on in proper sequence can yield an actual build sequence.
This can be reviewed rapidly by an engineer for feasibility of build.
Protocol
- Take a Sketchup file
- Place parts on layers numbered in sequence, in the order that the object will be built.
- Save the file. Now the person can hide and unhide the sequence, and a screen capture can yield a build sequence.
