Basics

• The treatment of wastewater (grey and/or black) on site rather than at a wastewater treatment plant
• Usually done at commercial and industrial level for large systems, as currently homers either uuse municipal sewers, or incomplete septic systems that require emmptying occasionally, and are also vunerable to clogging due to microbial activity
