Smelting

Basics

• A form of Extractive Metallurgy used as a Part of Processing Raw Ore, or for Removing Oxygen from Pure Oxides
• Roasting (Metallurgical Process) may be required beforehand to remove pure carbon, sulfur, and other undesired elements from the ore (Not needed if using pure oxide)
• Typically done with Iron , Zinc , and Copper oxides, although it can be applied to nearly any oxide
