This photo shows a rubber belt for a stepper motor on the jellbox 3d printer v1.3. The jellybox makes heavy use of zip ties in its assembley. One consequence of this was where the zip tie shown in this photo is just barely touching the rubber belt. Over time, as the rubber belt moved, the zip tie ground away at the rubber belt, causing a visible collection of black remnants below where the contact was made, where the belt was "eaten" away by the zip tie.

If zip ties are to be used in the ose d3d, care should be taken to ensure that they will be far from any moving parts, including rubber belts for the stepper motors.
