Model works as: print complex geometries for enclosures and assemblies, and buy a couple of snap in components as lifetime design consumer good products. The lifetime warranty comes from open design files, and ability to purchase the 'vitamins.' We can think of 3D printed 3D printer frame, reinforced with rods or rebar, as an example of this.
