=Concept=
*Base on the OSE Campus but inclusive, to the point that it's a model for setting up any high performance campus or any community in the world. Ie, a replicable model for the rapid learning required to build the next civilization, bypassing bureaucracy and the competitive waste of society, which currently hampers evolution of society and is responsible for current polarization via bad AI (polarizing social media). Albeit any community will have [[Structural Governance]] that allows uplift from [[Good to Great]] as much as is pallatable.
*Cost of living is free to those participating, at an exchange rate of 4 hour of work per week in some form of productive activity. Note similarity to [[Tim Ferriss]] and the [[4 Hour Workweek]]. This is for the OSE Campus version, which requires nominally 8-12 years of training to 'post-doc' equivalent. People take on real issues while maintaining an economy of utopia on site.
*The enabler is a degenerate, modular, open tech base. For example, there are only 4 screw sizes - 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, and 1" in a highly degenerate v1 that build everything from microchips to spaceships. We move on to no more complexity, until we optimize for high degeneracy in a modern standard of living.
*Community probably peaks at 2400 people for providing all of modern civilization. About 240 people work in technology including basics such as materials and agriculture. They are highly skilled, at the level of the 'post-doc' practitioner.
*What is the very base at various scales? This means for 12, 24, 48, 72, 96, etc. Where a team of 12 is required for one basic enterprise:
**Seed Eco-Home. With rebar, concrete, PV, CEB, wire, 3D printing, and that's it for free. Must throw in the perennial polyculture nursery as base of food infrastructure, including evolution of the food system to perennial robustness. Highest tech here is C02 heat pumps and thermal storage.
**Distillation of wood to fuels via charcoal.
**Tractors and machines. For construction, agriculture, utility, and materials such as chewing rocks and wood. Solar-powered Charcoal pellet combine, for the fuels 
**Concrete, steel, aluminum, zinc is mastered. ZA for hydraulics, electric motors. Steel for pistons. Wire, rod fro CNC stock.
**Plastic 3DP - building materials, 100% recycling on site. Automated casting forms from plaster premix, induction furnace, and welt into the form, which is preheated to drain the form material. 
**Phase 2:
***PV Panels - addition of sand refining to silicon and tempered glass. EVA production. Gets into recycled glass.
***Hydrogen. Cleaner fuel, at much higher yield per acre. See [[Farm Yields Per Acre]].
*We set up the Rapid Learning Facility that can unjob the local participants immediately, at a cost of $10k for buying out at the bottom for the education program. Financial assistance by Tom's Shoes 2-for-1 mechanism, where once trained, you can produce.
*The $10k may be the RLF fee. As you get certified, we hire. We can float the RLF fee, with payments taken out of peoples' pay.

=EVA=
*Ethylene and vinyl acetate are needed.

**Catalyst has about 1% precious metal, say 10 grams per kg of catalyst. Thus, if we want to make 1 kg of vinyl per hour, we need 100 grams of palladium. But catalyst should live for ever in principle. Payback time for catalyst in small production appears to be about 1/2 year.
**EVA on panels is total thickness of 1 mm, or about 200 g. Enough EVA in 1 year for 45,000 PV panels. About 1500 homes at the 6 kW system size.

=Rapid Learning and the Creation of the Next Civilization=

First we do Maysville, planning out an infrastructure for the school (which can begin attracting top talent) as a viable sister city to a city next door (school + community) - where by creating the sister community we prove the usability of our work in the mainstream world. This would be a proof of relevance of our work - thereby distributing wealth/knowledge more widely, and leveling the playing field, and ending the political division. The governance of the Sister City would have to be developed - if not a 'campus' - what is it? Ecoindustrial park?
