=Basics=
*[[Diesel Fuel]] with little to no [[Sulfur Content]]
**While in theory this could be a “Inorganic Sulfur”,  much of it is bound in [[Organosulfur Compounds]]
***While their removal can be remedied for,  this originally lead to some issues such as:
****Changes in (Often Previously Unspecified/Ignored) [[Fuel Lubricity]]
****Changes in Static Electricity Dissipation / Conductivity of the Fuel
****Misc other minor changes such as Gel Point / Energy Density / Seal Compatibility etc
*****These are far less severe/noted, although double check+citation needed etc
*****Main thing is the other two are HEAVILY documented in the literature + largely remedied by adding a bit of [[Transesterification Biodiesel]] to the mix (in a similar manner to how the [[Ethanol]] in [E-10]] replaced the [[Octane Booster]] [[TEL]]

**While the difference is largely negligible,  this is one interesting advantage of [[F-T Diesel]] ( [[Diesel Fuel]] derived from the [[Fischer-Tropsch Reaction]]
***It also tends to be a more “premium” diesel in terms of [[Cetane Number]] etc,  although ESPECIALLY compared to Fossil Diesel this is countered by it’s increased cost, thus typically delegated as a [[Blendstock]] (at least in most markets and as of now,  in the future this may drastically change)

**In the early days of ULSD Rollout,  this USED TO be essentially the “old” diesel+dye, but nowadays both are ULSD
