I don't understand very well this sentence:
"Remember, for a 2.5A stepper with microstepping, you only need sqrt(2)/2 of its max current in each coil."
I thought that it was the opposite, I mean, if you use full-step mode, the DRV8825 driver limits its output to 71% of the current limiting selected, so to drive a 1,8A stepper in full-step mode you'd have to set the limit to ~2,5A.
So in microstepping mode, you have to limit the current (in theory) to the stepper nominal current.
Is it true?
