From Ken Morton:

Looks like extremely promising solar energy and electricity work:

The essence: a now-retired-but-still-active Cornell professor developing "solar thermal technologies for vital economic needs" (STEVEN) focused on appropriate technology for 3rd World people. A friend and I built the first version of his steam engine about 10-15 years ago but never actually ran it. He has pumps, a solar refrigerator, an ingenious tracking device for parabolic solar collectors, and now seems to be focusing on solar cookers.
