Reference:
  Torque (ft-lb) = HP * 33000 / 2 * pi * RPM
  HP = Watts / (746 Watts/HP)
  HP = Torque * 2 * pi * RPM / 33000 =~ Torque * RPM / 5252
  RPM = HP * 33000 / 2 * pi * Torque (ft-lb)

Power

Use max engine output to power the pump and calculate hydraulic fluid flow and torque.

The idea is to use the maximum power available from the motor to power the pump and calculate the torque to the hydraulic pump.

Pump Input:

 Torque at rated input (5HP and 3600 RPM): torque = 5 HP * 33000 / 2 * pi * 3600 = 7.29 ft-lb
 Solve for pump RPM: RPM = .303 HP * 33000 / 2 * pi * 7.29 ft-lb =~ 218

Engine Specs:

 Displacement:	420cc Bore: 90, Stroke: 66.
 Max Output:	16.0 HP / 3600 RPM.
 Max Torque:	28.5 Nm / 23.34 ft/lb.
 Shaft Size:	1" Diameter, 2-3/4" Long, 1/4" Keyway,
 Shaft End:	3/8" Size 24 UNF - Drilled and Tapped
 Measurement from Center of Shaft to Base:	5"
 Fuel Tank Capacity:	1.75 Gallons
 Fuel Consumption:	1/2 Gallon Per Hour (at 1/2 load)
 Dry Weight:	77 lbs
 Recommended Fuel Type:	Gasoline - 87 Octane Rating Or Better

Pump Specs:

 Disp: 0.92 cu. in. / rev.
 Pump Type: Gear
 Rotation: CW
 Pressure: 3000 PSI Max.
 Speed: 3600 RPM Max.
 Flow: 7.17 GPM @ 1800 RPM and 2000 PSI.
 Mount: 2 bolt SAE A
 Shaft: 5/8" 9T spline, 1-1/4" long.
 Inlet Port: SAE 16
 Outlet Port: SAE 10
 Size: 4-1/2" x 5-1/8" x 4-5/8"
 Shpg: 12 lb.

Hydraulic Fluid Flow

Use pump specs to calculate displacement:

 RPM * CIPR = 0.92 CIPR * 3600 RPM / 231 cu-in/gal = 14.33 GPM

=Torque

 Torque (ft-lb) = HP * 33000 / 2 * pi * RPM = 16 * 33000 / 2 * pi * 3600 = 23.34 ft-lb
