I've mainly been looking at the following: 1: https://shop.prusa3d.com/en/3d-printers/180-original-prusa-i3-mk3-kit.html 2. Support; the prusa are much better supported than all the monoprice, Anet A8, etc clones 3. Will it set my house on fire?
Prusa has a better track record than clones
4. Upgradability 5. Robustness of parts
Ironically, print quality is my lowest criteria.
Your demo on a rickety folding table was extremely impressive.
