Principle: Advanced Simplicity
- Only using the most basic of modules. No engineered trusses. bars will be 16' wide only with simple shed roof away from the courtyard.
- Solar array on s side of N bar
- Solar array on s side of S enclosed deck bar
- Considering hydronic heat to efficiently/effectively move heat throughout this long skinny home
- Considering cost and benefits/cons of slab on grade vs pier and beam
- Drainage of courtyard must always be considered.
- Courtyard is the heart of this home
Roof
E Bar is 16x32 so this works: Probably 10' courtyard side to 8 or 9' opposite. Need to shed water a bit might really flatten in out though for sunbathing and possible solar array on top of this E Bar https://wiki.opensourceecology.org/wiki/Seed_Home_2_Roof
