Safety
- Wear safety glasses and gloves during cutting, drilling, filing, and cleaning operations
Point Marking with Datum Point/Edge
- Measure the appropriate distance from the datum point/edge and scribe the length point with 2 small lines
- Repeat for all dimensions, all points to be marked
Match Drilling
- Set 2 components one on top of the other, mount securely, then drill through both pieces at the same time for exact matching accuracy.
- Match drilling works effectively with templates
- Match drilling works effectively for pieces before they are cut
Cut Aluminum Flat Bar 1.5" x 3" x 48"
- Mark metal with scribe and measuring tape: 4 lengths of 100mm, 2 lengths of 150mm, 2 length of 140mm, 1 length of 40mm
- Cut the marked lengths with bandsaw
Cut Aluminum Flat Bar 0.375" x 3.5" x 10-12"
