- The movement system requires the blade to move closer to the workpiece. This is the operation movement.
 
- The movement system can allow the blade's plane of descent be at different angles to the workpiece. This is the angle movement.
 
Forward and Backward Drive Stops
- Forward and Backward Drive Stops (to prevent cutting into vise and to hold blade in mid-air while mounting the workpiece)
 
Swivel Angle Lock
- Being able to lock the swivel mechanism at certain angles provides precision cutting ability.
