Drilling the Fixed Block

Check the magdrill's vertical alignment.
Mount a drill chuck.
Clamp the Fixed Block, oriented to drill the 4 mounting holes.
Check the clamp's vertical alignment.
Change the bit for the pilot hole.
Drill the pilot holes, moving to each hole location accurately.
Drill the Base Flat

Mark the Base Flat from the datum edge along its width to designate where the Fixed Block should be along the length of the Base Flat.
Mark the Base Flat's outer mounting holes (the ones for fastening with the Base Plate)
Clamp the Base Flat onto a table with 2 C-Clamps.
Accurately clamp the Fixed Block onto the Base Flat and table with 2 C-Clamps such that the parts are parallel.
Match drill the
