Overview

CAD experience - has an old version of Solidworks (1998) - uses that and designs a large number of devices, some are being prototyped. Does FEA, MES - mechanical simulation, build a model in Solidworks and import it into the FEA package and set up an FEA for thermal or mechanical stress and then set away parameters that change and the computer puts out information for various conditions - it will animate all of the stresses of different conditions and you can see where critical stress conditions might arise.
