  • Creative Commons Craft your own license, you choose what attributes you want to have associated with it.
  • GPL Once under GPL derivatives must remain under GPL.
  • FreeBSD Once under FreeBSD, derivative licences can be changed.


Public Domain

  • You can enter something into the Public Domain by providing a legal statement with it that states so. Once in the Public Domain it will remain there permanently. This procedure will vary from country to country. I would recommend asking for advice from a lawyer, notary public or solicitor. You should be able to get free advice on how to do this procedure. Actually doing the procedure might cost.
