Concept that uses solar thermal energy harvested in a greenhouse-type form factor to dry agricultural and other sludges, such as biogas slurry or sewage. Can enable conversion of waste into feedstock for other process (e.g. biogas slurry into compost). Can achieve microbial conversion.
Variation on this idea: using biomass energy instead of solar energy (benefit: independence of weather conditions, more versatile, good use of waste heat, etc.). An elegant solution would be using superheated steam, allowing for some physical separation of energy generation and use.
