I've mainly been looking at the following:
- https://shop.prusa3d.com/en/3d-printers/180-original-prusa-i3-mk3-kit.html
- Support; the prusa are much better supported than all the monoprice, Anet A8, etc clones
- Will it set my house on fire?
- Prusa has a better track record than clones
- Upgradability
- Robustness of parts
