There are eighteen total frame members following eight unique patterns on two sides, so there are sixteen sets of holes to punch in the jig, labelled A through P.  Since the jig needs to accommodate all holes from all sides of all frame members, the jig itself needs to be as long as the longest frame member, which is 76 inches.  All frame members are 4 inches across, so the jig should be four inches wide.

The LifeTrac III Frame Jig is a jig for marking hole locations (by punching a hole in the jig, and later transfer punching the correct hole pattern to the specific frame member) for all the frame members for the LifeTrac III, enabling faster accurate hole punches. The jig is

Some holes are shared between different hole patterns, and thus have several hole set labels.

To create the jig, take the 4 by 76 inch jig and punch 1/4 inch holes halfway 2" from the long edge (exact center between the long edges) (to fit the transfer punch) in the following locations using the following markings:

  • 2" (B, D, F, H, J, K, N, P)
  • 6" (C, G, I, L, M, O)
  • 9" (C, E)
