I have thought along similar lines for a long time (although not necessarily focusing on the farm-scale like OSE), and in fact first met Marcin at the [http://www.oekonux-conference.org/ Oekonux conference] held at Manchester University, UK in 2009 where we were both giving talks (for slides of my talk, see [[Post Scarcity Presentation]]).

I think Open Source Ecology is fantastic real-world example of open-source being applied to the physical world. I am am a small-scale financial supporter of OSE, and think it has amazing potential!

I have thought along similar lines for a long time (although not necessarily focusing on the farm-scale like OSE), and in fact first met Marcin at the Oekonux conference held at Manchester University, UK in 2009 where we were both giving talks (for slides of my talk, see Post Scarcity Presentation and blog entry [1]).

My website with a very complimentary philosophy to OSE is at AdCiv.org (Advanced Civilization).

Long live OSE!
