Boyd grew up on a totally sustainable farm in the Levenworth, Ks. area which operated both independently and within a COOP of such farms and farmsteads......Marilyn grew up in a homesteading family where she did most of the cooking and preservation of garden food; for a family of seven. Her father was both independent and hired out for work. They built and remodeled their home while living in it. It would be sold and they did the same with the next one..... | |||
