  • Pre-branded texts

Tools and alternatives

  • Ad text analyzer - not found any free one (textio or taprecruit)
  • Ad placement

LinkedIn is needed for both sourcing and job advertisement. A recruitment license is too expensive, a cheaper LinkedIn-premium license should be enough for OSE. Free tools for LinkedIn: Groups. Search groups with your keyword, join groups and look there for active members.

Bolean and x-ray

Use these tools to generate strings for Boolean searches. Tweek the results to your preference.

  • Bolean searches - Boolean assistant. Free version exist.
  • Hiretaul good alternative to Bolean searches. Can be used in combination.

Search

  • SourceHub - create an account before you use it
  • RecruitEM
  • GitHub - OctoHR. Free version exist

Identity search and integration

  • Swoop talent (doesn't work well with Norton Antivirus or Bitdefender's firewall for some reason)
    • I'm using AmazingHire on windows as swooptalent is problematic due to the above, the free version works ok so far. Have to add what I find manually.
  • Find e-mails - Hunter - helps you find e-mail addresses to any webpage you come across. (use the chrome extension. They also have a webpage: https://hunter.io/search# ) - allows you to save candidates. You can also add webpages in bulk.
  • Discoverly (not as good as AmazingHire, but allows you to save candidates)
  • LinkedIn Search tool - allows you to mark a name you see somewhere and then directly search for that person in LinkedIn

Identity -> CRM integration

The ones that allows exporting functions to excel lists costs money, so in OSE's case we will probably need to either save the candidate's in the plugin themselves, or entering them manually in our excel files.

There are plugins that allows candidate -> CRM. Especially for Salesforce, but also for ZohoCRM etc. (Yetiforce is a CRM which seems to receive good reviews. Can't find any automated plugins for that though. HubSpot is free but I don't think it is opensource, it is free because they use it to uppsell their premium services).

Obstacles so far

  • Doesn’t have pre-branded text
  • Doesn’t have text analyzer
  • Doesn’t have linkedin recruiter licence. (premium license should be enough. can try without any license and see how it works without inMails.
  • Doesn’t have a swoop talent licence
  • Doesn’t have propel IQ license
  • Doesn’t have LeadIQ (is leadmine as good?)

I have not found any candidate profile integration tool which is free. Workaround is to upload candidates manually in a prospect list Prospects
