*''Do you endorse open source culture?''
*''Do you endorse open source culture?''
Yes.
Yes.
*''Why are you interested in this work?''
I'd like to contribute to an effort that can help to reduce some of the ills imposed by our nigh-fascist government and Federal Reserve banking/slave system.
*''Are you interested in teaching about the GVCS?''
No.
*Are you interested in economic relocalization possibilities arising from the GVCS?'
Maybe.  Due to my need to maintain a steady income, I won't be able to relocate to an area where I cannot find a job that provides steady income.
*''Do you want to use the GVCS technologies yourself? Do you want to build them yourself?''
Yes.  My plan is to start my own farm that will satisfy most of my food needs.
*''Are you interested in starting up enterprise using the GVCS technologies?''
Maybe.
*''Are you interested in having the GVCS technologies fabricated by your local custom fabricator?''
Yes, and I'd like to do some myself.
*''Are you interested in applying the GVCS to third world development? To redevelopment of crisis areas? To development of derelict areas in the developed world?''
I'd like to help to develop GVCS technology, but don't expect to spend extended periods of time long distances from home.
*''Are you interested in starting up Industry 2.0 flexible fabrication enterprises for your local community,  by drawing from a global repository of freely down-loadable designs and fabricating using open source fabrication equipment?''
Maybe.  The City of Detroit is in need of Industry 2.0, but I'm not a great social organizer nor much of a people person, so I'd prefer to working behind someone who'd lead such an effort.
*''Are you interested in the potential of the GVCS for developing local food systems?''
Yes.  I think that it could be used to accelerate the urban farming movement in the City of Detroit.
*''Are you interested in doing academic studies/papers, publishing books, or doing other analysis of our efforts?''
No.
*Are you interested in financial investment opportunities arising from our work?
Yes, but I don't have a large amount of money to invest.
*''Are you interested in the distributive economic aspects of our work, and if so, how do you see this playing out?''
Yes, but I can't make a good prediction of how it will play out.  Entrenched powers will likely try to contain the effects of GVCS
*''Are you interested in building renewable energy production facilities based on open hardware (solar concentrator electric, wind, biomass power).''
Yes.  Beginning in late 2009, I spent 16 months working on the design of the SES Stirling engine (http://www.stirlingenergy.com).  Some of my experience and contacts made while working on this project might be useful in developing a solar concentrator electric system.
*''Are you interested in building resilient communities based on access to the GVCS?''
Maybe.
*''Are you interested in creating a bug-out hut using GVCS technologies?''
Maybe.
*''How do you think that the GVCS can help alleviate the instabilities of global monetary systems?''
The GVCS can do this best by issuing its own local currencies and therefore isolate itself as much as possible from instabilities of global monetary systems.
*''How do you think that the GVCS can address issues related to resource conflicts?''
Resource conflicts are due largely to the constant "growth" and monetary inflation required in a debt-based monetary system such as that of the the United States.  These conflicts can largely be resolved through use of local currencies.
*''How do you think that the GVCS can address issues of overpopulation?''
By allowing members of GVCS communities to work in an efficient system where the fruits of their own labors will directly, or through fair trade via local currencies, never leave them hungry or in need of any basic necessities of life.
*''How do you think that the GVCS can address issues of resource depletion and environmental degradation?''
A great deal if it's adopted on a large scale.
*''Other comments''

*''What have you already contributed to the OSE project? (technical contributions, blogging about us, financial support, organizing events, translations, interviews, video editing, publications, publicity work, behind-the-scenes work, CAD work, wiki contributions, computer support, etc)''
'''Organizational'''
*No.
'''Computer Support'''
*I've been using Fedora for several years at home and rarely use windows.  I have some knowledge of Linux-based web servers and how to build a LAMP website, but I'm not a programmer.
'''Finances'''
*No.
'''Sociology'''
*No.
'''Home Economics'''
*I've done gardening over the years and more recently some biodynamic sprays on my yard, and have been reading Acres USA for several years.  I'm not, though, confident that I could grow enough food to feed myself and my wife.

'''Engineering'''
'''Engineering'''

*''Can you volunteer to work with us, and if so, how many hours per week?''
I can volunteer 10-20 hours per week.
I can volunteer up to hours per week.

*''Are you interested in working with us for pay? If so, what services can you offer, and what is your hourly or per-project rate?''
If I could make enough money to quit my job, I'd do CAD (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer-aided_design) and CAE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer-aided_engineering) work for an hourly rate.  The rate would be negotiable based on the amount of work available.

*''Are you interested in purchasing equipment from us to help bootstrap development?''
Yes.  I'm interested in purchasing equipment that could be used on my own 5-10 acre farm.

*''Are you interested in bidding for consulting/design/prototyping work?''
Yes.

*''Are you a [http://openfarmtech.org/index.php?title=True_Fans True Fan]? If not, why not?''
*''Are you a [http://openfarmtech.org/index.php?title=True_Fans True Fan]? If not, why not?''
Yes.
Yes.
*''Would you like to see yourself working with us on a full-time basis?''
Yes, but I unfortunately assume that my current financial needs could not be met if I quit my current job.
*''Are you interested in using the technologies that we are developing directly?''
Yes.  I'm interested in making/purchasing equipment that could be used on my own 5-10 acre farm.
*''Are you interested in being part of the world's first, open source, resilient community? The GVCS is the preparatory step for the OSE Village Experiment - a 2 year, immersion experiment (2013-2014) for testing whether a real, thriving, modern-day prototype community of 200 people can be built on 200 acres using local resources and open access to information? We are looking for approximately 200 people to fill a diverse array of roles, according to the Social Contract that is being developed. This may be the boldest social experiment on earth - a pioneering community whose goal is to extend the index of possibilities regarding harmonious existence of humans, ecology, and technology - as a beacon of light to benefit of all people on Earth.
No.
