Hello again!

I wanted to send you a short note of Thanks-giving.

After spending some additional time reading more material from the links that you sent me . . .

I just wish to say "Thank you for being who you are, and for doing what you are doing!"

Towards the end of 2007, I also had the realization that my PhD was a "certificate of overspecialization," and a handicapping one at that.

Since then, I have been brainstorming about what to do about this. Summaries of some early results are at: http://grass-roots-science.info.

On a related note, this coming week will be spent working with some folks to see if the new Google open source mobile operating system has utility for small scale farm organization and data gathering.

So, if you can think of anything along those lines that would help you, please let me know.

Take care,

- Steve
