==='''WHY''' are you motivated to support/develop this work?===
*''Do you endorse open source culture?''
Yes, I owe a lot of my education to freely available information within the online engineering world. If it was not for the blogs and pages of numerous engineers, designers, tinkerers and backyard Von Brauns I would not have achieved what I have today. And without a give/take relationship this knowledge well would run dry

*''Why are you interested in collaborating with us?''
A challenge and a good cause.

*''How do you think that the GVCS can address pressing world issues?''
Much of the technology here allows the trading of time for capital. Through this time rich, capital poor citizens will be able to access technology previously not available, increasing farming efficiency, address lower order needs and allowing a focus on education rather than subsistence living as an example, contributing to the knowledge pool so the cycle continues.

*''What should happen so that you become more involved with the project?''
I run a design company specialising in automation engineering and prototyping. A large section of which is rural automation, both food and bio-fuel, and alternative transport. I hope that with the expansion of my income from this business I will have more free time and resources to invest in activities such as this, plus encouraging corporate skill development would attracted knowledge and resources from the private sector.

*''What is missing in the project?''
A focus on closed circuit production, a toilet, a washing machine and I believe an electric off road bike of some type, a single person off-road/on-road transportation method that is cheap and powered by locally supplied energy.

*''What are your suggestions for improvement of the project?''
I would like to see more emphasis on relationships between the systems, such as waste heat can be used for de-salinization of ground water for crops which have waste products that can be used in the gasification system... or gasification by-products which can be compressed and used for the baking oven, central heating or power generation in a pull system where energy production meets demand, rather than shifting demand to meet energy production, running the CNC systems only when the wind is good will harper production and prototyping.

==='''WHAT''' are your skills?===

*'''List all of your skills in these areas: Communications - Organizational - Computer Support - Finances - Design - Natural Building - Electronics - Automation - Metallurgy - Engineering - Fabrication - Agriculture - Energy - Architecture - Video/Graphics/Art - PR/Marketing - Education - Construction - Industry - CNC - Chemistry - Product Design - Other'''
Organisational:
During university I sold electric bikes through my back yard business. Honestly it was not the greatest of corporate challenges.
I am currently running a start up engineering design and prototype consultancy.

Design/ product design/metallurgy/engineering/fabrication:
Extensive use of SolidWorks and other CAD software.
I have designed over 50 different systems at last count, including hydraulics, pneumatics and automation components. Having prototyped a number of designs, including tilt steering three wheeled single person electric vehicles, CNC upgrades to k and sensor deployment rigs.

Automation/electronics/CNC:
PLC programming, PIC, AVR, PROP embedded systems design and programming. I once designed and prototyped a CNC PCB mill and CNC lathe but had to stop the project due to costs.

Energy: I have developed concepts around wind turbines and Green waste gasification systems that I believe could be useful to this organisation.

*''How have you already contributed to the project?''
I just put the finishing touches on a wind turbine design that I hope to upload this week.

===HOW can you help?===

*''How are you interested in contributing to the work of GVCS development?''
I wish to supply engineering design services, CAD drafting, FEA and simulation work and systems integration.

*''Can you volunteer to work with us, and if so, how many hours per week?''
I am based on the other side of the world to this project, with a 12 hour time difference, in so my contribution will be by email and internet. i can offer 10/20 hours a week depending on my workload.

*''Are you interested in working with us for pay? If so, what services can you offer, and what is your hourly or per-project rate?''
Not at all, my main reason for interest in this project is contributing to a worthy course and the development of engineering skills through challenges.

*''Are you interested in a [[Dedicated Project Visit]]?
I have commitments locally I cannot leave.

*''Are you interested in purchasing equipment from us to help bootstrap development?''

*''Are you interested in bidding for consulting/design/prototyping work?''

*''Are you a [[True Fans|True Fan]]? If not, why not?''
I have too many projects of my own that require capital, In so I can only offer time

*''Would you like to see yourself working with us on a full-time basis?''
Other commitments limit this option.

*''Are you interested in being part of the world's first, open source, resilient community? The GVCS is the preparatory step for the OSE Village Experiment – a 2 year, immersion experiment (2013-2014) for testing whether a real, thriving, modern-day prototype community of 200 people can be built on 200 acres using local resources and open access to information? We are looking for approximately 200 people to fill a diverse array of roles, according to the Social Contract that is being developed. This may be the boldest social experiment on earth - a pioneering community whose goal is to extend the index of possibilities regarding harmonious existence of humans, ecology, and technology.''
Other commitments limit this option.
