Boyd grew up on a totally sustainable farm in the Levenworth, Ks. area which operated both independently and within a COOP of such farms and farmsteads......Marilyn grew up in a homesteading family where she did most of the cooking and preservation of garden food; for a family of seven. Her father was both independent and hired out for work. They built and remodeled their home while living in it.
